Czy może macie tak, że zbieracie różne pudełka, rolki, kartoniki i inne tego typu rzeczy po różnych produktach z myślą, że .... fajne, coś z tego zrobię, szkoda wyrzucić. Z czasem okazuje się, że nie mamy tego gdzie trzymać, a żadna praca z naszych "przydasi" nie powstała. Otóż zbierałam i ja. Jestem osobą szydełkującą więc nazbierało mi się trochę rolek po kordonkach. Są z grubego kartonu, solidne. Postanowiłam wreszcie na coś je wykorzystać. A może pudełko na słodycze?

Do you ever find yourself collecting various boxes, rolls, cardboard pieces, and other similar items from different products, thinking, "Hmm, I'll make something cool out of this, it's too good to throw away"? Over time, it turns out that we don't have anywhere to store them, and none of our "useful" projects have come to fruition. Well, I've been guilty of that too. As a person who enjoys crocheting, I've accumulated quite a few rolls from yarn. They're made of thick cardboard, sturdy. I finally decided to put them to good use. How about making a candy box out of them?

Potrzebne będą:
- kartonowa rolka,
- niewielki kawałek grubego kartonu,
- cienki biały papier,
- papier do oklejania pudełka (użyłam papierów Scrap Boys z kolekcji Dream Garden),
- złoty papier lustrzany,
- klej na gorąco,
- klej do papieru,
- nożyczki, ołówek, linijka,
- elementy do ozdobienia pudełka.
You'll need:
- Cardboard roll
- Small piece of thick cardboard
- Thin white paper
- Paper for covering the box (I used Scrap Boys papers from the Dream Garden collection)
- Gold mirror paper
- Hot glue
- Paper glue
- Scissors, pencil, ruler
- Embellishments for decorating the box
Z grubego kartonu wycinam kółko (to będzie dno pudełka). Brzeg rolki po kordonku oklejam cienkim białym papierem.
From the thick cardboard, I cut out a circle (this will be the bottom of the box). I cover the edge of the yarn roll with thin white paper.
Papierem scrapowym oklejam dno od środka.
I cover the inside of the bottom with scrapbook paper.
Docinam ozdobny papier do oklejenia rolki w środku i na zewnątrz (uwzględniam grubość dna).
I trim the decorative paper to cover the inside and outside of the roll (taking into account the thickness of the bottom).
Wyklejam środek rolki ozdobnym papierem, a następnie klejem na gorąco przyklejam dno.
I line the inside of the roll with decorative paper, and then I hot glue the bottom in place.
Następnie oklejam powstałe pudełko na zewnątrz.
Next, I cover the resulting box on the outside.
Teraz pora na ozdobienie pudełka. Wykorzystałam papier lustrzany, białą koronkę, którą wycięłam dziurkaczem w papierze oraz elementy do wycinania. Dodałam na koniec wąską wstążeczkę i półperełki.
Now it's time to decorate the box. I used mirror paper, white lace punched out with a hole puncher, and die-cut elements. Finally, I added a narrow ribbon and half pearls.
Tak prezentuje się pudełko ze słodkościami.
Here's how the candy box looks like.
Wykonanie takiego pudełeczka nie zajmuje wiele czasu, a w razie potrzeby mamy ładne opakowanie na słodki upominek np. z okazji imienin czy urodzin.
A może idąc z wizytą do znajomych podarować im taki drobiazg?

Making such a little box doesn't take much time, and if needed, we have a nice packaging for a sweet gift, for example, for name days or birthdays. Or perhaps, when visiting friends, we could give them such a trinket? I encourage you to get creative, especially since our blog has a "Creative Recycling" challenge ongoing.
